This year, I focused on my family and my studies. Everybody's fine. It's been a real joy to watch my boys grow up.
As part of my CS studies, I participated in the NASA Rocksat-C program. In this program, I worked on a microcontroller that some NASA engineers stuffed into a rocket and launched into space. We were measuring background radiation in the ionosphere. NASA had us come down to Wallops Flight Facility and watch the launch.
I wrote a few short stories that went straight to the trunk, but other than that, not much to report on the writing front.
I did, however, complete a key objective on my side quest to read the Top 100 Science Fiction and Fantasy books. Unfortunately, this quest remains incomplete: as per my own ground rules, I didn't write about what I'd read.
Now I get to revisit this task when I have some free time.
